The objective of Ridella is to solve the riddle using as few guesses as possible. To get started, try this step-by-step guide to cracking the daily puzzle:

• First, remember that all riddles are four lines in total, but they are revealed one line at a time.

• When you're ready to submit a guess, enter the answer and then press the 'Solve' button.

• If you are stumped and need another hint, press the Solve button without entering a guess.

• Each incorrect guess reveals the next line of the riddle. 

• You only have one chance to solve once the entire riddle is revealed. The answer to the riddle will always be a commonly known word.

Why was Ridella created?

A Riddle enthusiast created Ridella to solve two challenges they faced within their beloved word game genre.

The first challenge was that they found that there could be a significant gap in skill levels between players, making it challenging to write a riddle that was appealing to everyone.

With Ridella, the mechanic of revealing one line at a time allows new and experienced solvers alike to enjoy the riddles. An experienced solver may answer the riddle using 1-2 lines. However, a new solver may require all four lines to figure out the answer.

The second challenge was that quality riddles can be tricky to find. Many have the same repetitive solutions, such as 'The letter E' or 'The horse was named Friday.
